The Association
The non-profit association Sozialhelfer.org was founded in November 2018. We support:
- Economically disadvantaged people
- People with disabilities
- Individuals who have experienced crime or discrimination
A key focus of our work is the promotion of equal treatment for LGBTIQA+ individuals.
Our main goal is to strengthen self-help among affected individuals by providing well-researched and carefully prepared information that can help them secure and enforce their rights.
This includes:
- Templates for appeals and legal actions
- Guides and informational leaflets
- Official instructions from authorities regarding social benefits
- Legal basics for various social benefits
- General education on social law
The association also advocates against sanctions within the social benefits system.
The associated non-profit Emanzipatorische Selbsthilfe e.V. works on the principle of “help toward self-help”, enabling individuals to represent their own interests and rights independently, while learning skills and abilities that foster maximum self-sufficiency and independence.
